The class presented Austin Repatriation Hospital with the money for a wheelchair which will bear the name of the school so whoever uses it can know of the kindness of the young people at OVP.The group whose idea is was to support the Austin feel passionate about health and looking after people when they are sick and in need of extra help and care. Not only did the school receive the $1000 from YFV3081 for their idea but they also raised the extra $250 needed to buy the new wheelchair. Amazing!

The second presentation was to Blue Cross Animal Shelter that houses stray animals from the 3081 area. Blue Cross Animal Shelter in Wonga Park, never kills its stray animals, but keeps them until they die of old age if no-one claims them or adopts them. Most animals do get adopted. The group who supported them in their YFV3081 application feel passionate about respecting animal's rights in our community. The gift of $1000 from the class will inoculate 10 cats and 14 dogs upon arrival at the shelter.
